About the role

Working Monday to Friday 9:30 – 2:30 or 10 – 3, the Commercial Support Administrator will be Respond efficiently to all enquiries producing quotations, ensuring that they are recorded and followed up in the CRM system using DFDS Way of Selling.

You will be responsible for:

  • Work within agreed route specific tariffs and pricing policies within geographically agreed areas for each route to provide competitive quotes to customers.
  • Ensure that volume related leads and quotes follow the DFDS Way of Selling process.
  • Ensure that all customer information is accurate within both Phoenix & CRM.
  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial Support Manager.
  • Support the team to proactively identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Assist Senior Leadership Team with ad-hoc requests and setting up corporate events.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, operating procedures & standards
  • Always work with due care and attention to ensure the personal safety and others
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required

About you

We are seeking a candidate with excellent computer literacy and a high level of administration skills, complemented by geographical knowledge of the UK, Europe, and Scandinavia. While a minimum of 5 GCSEs and industry-related training or qualifications are desirable, they are not essential. Our ideal candidate will thrive in an experienced team with a wealth of knowledge across various business areas and diverse personalities. They should be easy-going, competent in customer service skills, and comfortable with cold calling.
