With a strong reputation and a track record of success, the company is expanding its market reach and enhancing its brand presence. They are currently seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to join their team and lead their marketing initiatives.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies that strengthen the company's brand, drive customer engagement, and support overall business growth. This role encompasses digital marketing, content creation, and internal/external communications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in B2B marketing.

This is initially an interim role due to start ASAP, so we need someone immediately available for work. Salary equivalent £55,000 - £65,000 DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the company's brand presence across various platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company's core values.
  • Digital Marketing: Lead the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media efforts.
  • Content Creation: Direct the development of compelling content for use across websites, blogs, brochures, press releases, and product catalogues.
  • Internal Communications: Ensure effective communication within the organisation, keeping employees informed and engaged.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to gather insights on customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, and use these insights to shape marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies that yield a strong return on investment.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a small marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Person Specification

  • Experience within a B2B marketing environment, preferably within manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong strategic planning and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
  • Experience with market research and data driven decision making
