Business Development Manager - Financial Services - appointment making
Are you a conversational, outgoing and dynamic in personality? We are currently recruiting engaging and talented business development personnel to carry out business development activities, targeting private professionals in order to book appointments and places on presentation events. Your work will involve interacting with potential clients, businesses and customers via social media, telephone bookings, email and other forms of direct to customer marketing whilst educating them on the services that this company offers. You will be rewarded with both a salary and a performance related bonus, where you are rewarded for the number of appointments made (rather than specific sales related targets).
The company in question offers private financial advice and wealth management services, who give regulated advice on managing finance, investments, pensions and many other financial services products. They offer award winning, ethical advice to their customers.
The role is essentially a Business Development Role where you will build relationships with prospective clients and professionals within businesses and organisations, so some experience of sales or appointment making services in this market place would be an advantage.
You will be assigned a regional territory that covers Central and Southern England and parts of London to build relationships within, and you'll be expected to manage and nurture those relationships on an ongoing basis
Responsibilities:
- The main purpose of this position is to generate sales leads and appointments in order for Financial Advisors to engage directly with an audience of potential clients.
- Build and nurture working relationships with key individuals within organisations that operate can introduce you to their staff
- To organise, deliver and manage educational and PR-focused events both of a digital and face to face nature
- To attend national and regional marketing events in a PR Capacity and to help assist in lead generation if and when required.
- To manage and organise attendances at company run events
- To maintain robust records of contacts, activity and outcomes.
Applications will be considered from sales and business development professionals from a variety of backgrounds, but a knowledge of the inner workings of financial services products will be a firm advantage.
