Qualified Accountant (East Midlands)
We are working with a public sector organisation in the East Midlands who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic qualified Accountant to assist the authority on their 2025/26 budget and MTFS preparation.
Start: ASAP Rate: £500 - £550 per day - Negotiable depending on experience (Inside IR35) Duration: 3-6 Months Initially Flexible Hybrid Working Model
Main duties:
- Budget 2025/26 and MTFS preparation
- Budget Monitoring
- Meeting budget managers
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant
- Local government finance experience
- Senior level Budget setting/MTFS production/experience for the organisation in Corporate Finance environment
- Highly proficient on accounting systems and spreadsheets
- Can work on own initiative
- Good interpersonal skills
