You will be working for a not-for-profit housing organisation whose vision is to support and encourage individuals using their services to tap into their ambitions and aspirations and make something positive out of their situation.
Your New Role
- Deliver a high quality management of 40+ supported properties
- Monitor and coordinate management contracts ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered;
- Build, develop and maintain positive working relationships with support providers and the Local Authority;
- To act as the first point of contact for queries relating to supported properties;
- You will be responsible for ensuring homes comply with health and safety legislation and good practice and being a contact for third parties who need access to the buildings to support with this upkeep.
- Carry out risk assessments
What you need to succeed
- A recognised housing qualification is desirable or relevant HNC/HND or demonstrable relevant employment experience;
- Knowledge of services provided by housing associations;
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential;
- Experience of working in the housing profession, specifically dealing with supported housing and with knowledge of housing management issues including dealing with ASB, tenancy conditions;
- Experience of relationship management with 3rd sector support providers contract management within a housing context;
- Experience of managing support contracts and working with a range of stakeholders;
- Experience of working within a customer-focused environment;
- Experience of negotiating responsibilities of management agreements and leases with the managing agent;
