Food Technology Teacher - Manchester - January start

Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for your next teaching role? Are you able to commit to a full time role from January until July?

Prospero Teaching are looking for a QTS qualified Food Technology Teacher to work in a large, over subscribed school in Manchester on a full-time basis for 2 terms. The role will start when they return after their Christmas break in January and will be until they close for summer in July. It is essential that you are a Qualified Teacher holding QTS and that you are qualified and experienced to teach food technology to key stage 3 & 4 pupils.

You will be expected to become fully involved in the department and school. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that captivate the pupils, attend departmental meetings, and be available for parents evenings as and when they arise, providing constructive feedback to pupils, parents or carers.

Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day

Hours 8:20 am 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent

Previous experience teaching Food Technology in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)

Up to date prevent Awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide training)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide a minimum of two professional child related references
