Private Client Solicitor

- Salary: £50-60.000/annum
We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join our esteemed law firm with a national reputation for excellence. This role is integral to maintaining the highest standard of client care and will involve handling a wide range of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate, LPA's, Trusts, Estates, Tax, and Court of Protection.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conduct day-to-day management of Private Client files, ensuring all aspects of work connected with Private Client are handled efficiently.
- Handle queries from all offices, with the possibility of travelling to other locations as needed.
- Work within strict deadlines in a pressurised yet supportive environment.
- Liaise positively with support staff and the Legal Director on financial budgeting and training opportunities.
- Achieve billing targets as agreed with the Legal Director.
- Assist senior members of the Department with substantial case files, showing flexibility during periods of holiday/sickness.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records for clients.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the firm and participate actively in business development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Registered Solicitor compliant with SRA standards or FCILEX.
- 2 years + PQE, ideally STEP qualified.
- Experience as a Private Client Solicitor in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-organised, proactive, and able to undertake business development initiatives.
- Competent in the use of ICT and able to maintain client confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
