Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Workshop Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in mechanical engineering to transition into a hands-on role in our workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions for repair.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles/equipment to identify any potential problems.
- Repair and replace defective parts/components using hand and power tools.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a mechanical role is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components is advantageous.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
