SEN Teacher

Have you worked with and supported youth with SEND?

We are seeking dedicated SEN Teachers to join our team at one of our various schools. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with SEN students. We encourage experienced educators eager to deepen their expertise in supporting pupils with complex needs and those not meeting age-appropriate academic standards to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute tailored education plans for students with special needs.
  • Create a warm and inclusive classroom atmosphere to encourage development and learning.
  • Work closely with support staff, teaching assistants, and other professionals to offer individualized support for each student.
  • Track and evaluate students' progress, regularly communicating updates to parents and caregivers.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with children who have special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive teaching approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • An enhanced DBS check registered on the update service.
