Job Title: Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse

Location: Barking and Dagenham

Position: 2 Full Days and 3 Half Days

Start Date: September 2024

Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse looking to make a real impact in a vibrant and dynamic school environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse to join a larger-than-average school in Barking and Dagenham. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and eager to be fully involved in the school community.

About the Role:

  • Working Hours: 2 full days and 3 half days per week
  • Duration: For the academic year
  • Location: School nursery, within a large and supportive school setting
  • Transport: Easily accessible via local transport links

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with young children to foster a stimulating and nurturing learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement educational activities
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's progress

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Personality: An engaging and proactive individual who is ready to get fully involved in the position
