Occupational Therap ist - Rehabilitation 12 Month Contract; Full-Time, 37 hours per week - £35,308.92

The Optalis Short-Term Support and Rehabilitation Team (STS&R) provides six weeks of care and support to people who have recently been discharged from hospital, with the aim of restoring their confidence and independence in their own home. STS&R is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Care Assistants and Support Staff and provides support to customers across the Royal Borough of Maidenhead and Windsor.

We are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support with the local NHS discharge and flow pathway, helping people return to their homes or, when not suitable, a community bed setting.

This role is on a fixed term 12-month contract for full-time hours. Working hours are 0845-1715 on Monday, and 0845-1645 Tuesday to Friday.

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist who is registered with HCPC and has experience of rehabilitation and supporting people in the community. You'll work alongside a team of Optalis Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Care Assistants, as well as support staff from with the NHS and care homes providing a step-down service. As our customers receive a maximum of six weeks support, your caseload will be varied and will change regularly, truly making no two weeks the same.

As customers will be located across the Royal Borough as well as neighbouring boroughs, you must be able to drive and have your own vehicle for this role.
