Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our client's finance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for producing management accounts for an expanding group of companies. You will play a key part in the ongoing transformation, assisting with the installation of a new ERP and finance system, and establishing new policies and procedures. Your adaptability and expertise in change management will be crucial as they navigate this exciting period of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely management accounts for the group of companies.
  • Assist with projects such as the implementation of a new ERP and finance system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and enforce new financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting, with a particular focus on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Support the finance team in daily operations and ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within a fast-paced, acquisitional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Studying towards a relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable
