Part time Admin Assistant - ISO Compliance

I am seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join a well established freight forwarder based locally to Heathrow.

You will be responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager in maintaining ISO standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the ISO Management System. This role will involve a variety of tasks, including assisting in writing Policies and Procedures, organising files, scheduling training, and assisting with other administrative duties as needed. The part-time administrative assistant will work closely with the Compliance Manager to uphold ISO standards and facilitate compliance activities. Other duties will include:

  • Assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining ISO standards and ensuring compliance with ISO requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for the development and implementation of ISO Policies and Procedures.
  • Assist in writing, reviewing, and updating ISO documentation, including manuals, forms, and records.
  • Organize and maintain ISO-related files, both electronic and hard copies, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Coordinate and schedule ISO training sessions for employees, track attendance, and maintain training records.
  • Assist with internal audits and assessments to monitor compliance with ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and staff to identify and address ISO compliance issues.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on ISO compliance activities and performance metrics.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by the Compliance Manager.

Experience needed:

  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a compliance or quality management environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards or related quality management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of quality management principles and continuous improvement concepts is desirable.

  • Part time - Can be flexible to accommodate the candidate! OFFICE BASED - NO HYBRID WORKING.
