Purchasing Administrator

An experienced Purchasing Administrator required for Pharmaceutical client based in Nottingham - NG9.
This is a Fixed term contact for 12 months (Maternity cover) offering an immediate start
The purpose of the role is to ensure smooth running of the supply chain within a fast paced environment.

Duties

  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Progressing outstanding purchase orders.
  • Checking availability of goods in relation to lead times.
  • Updating the sales team as to the status of their order.
  • Releasing purchase orders via the purchase order authorisation system
  • Raising purchase orders and progressing direct to site deliveries as necessary.
  • Assist with arranging collections and clearances of international imports as required.

Skills Required:

  • Understanding of ERP (Syteline desirable) essential.
  • A high level of accuracy is essential
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Word and Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and takes ownership.
  • Excellent organisation skills - planning/organised and efficient.
  • To be able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities/deadlines.

Full driving licence desirable

Mon - Fri 8.00-17.00 (14.00 on a Friday)
