We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) class. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and be committed to promoting the development and well-being of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Assist in creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Plan and deliver small group activities that engage and inspire young learners.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have access to the curriculum and the support they need.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among students.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and development.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Experience in an Early Years (Nursery or Primary setting) is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
