An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Housing and Support Manager to join a Housing Association whose vision is to empower refugees and migrants that reside in the UK to lead self-sufficient and ambitious lives.
Along with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, you will also receive a pension scheme and onsite parking.
Housing and Support Manager Responsibilities
- Achieve on-target delivery, co-ordination and programme management of all tenant operations
- Ensure a responsive and impactful service that is focused upon achieving positive, sustained outcomes for service users
- Ensure the financial performance via effective rental practices
- Ensure that work is delivered to budget and in line with performance targets
- Support direct delivery to service users where required
- Work in collaboration with other Senior Managers to ensure that work is delivered to a high standard and to client/funder specification
- Assist the Quality Manager in the continuous quality improvement of services and activities
- Support the Operations Manager and other staff in the development of a portfolio of integration-focused projects which meet income generation targets and complement
- Co-ordinate service reviews with delivery staff on a regular basis
- Produce and submit reports to management, funders and other partners as required
- Recruit, coordinate and supervise the work of staff as appropriate
- Produce and submit payment claims in line with funder requirements and timescales
- People Management and Development
- Lead online management meetings and procedures etc for specific staff and the performance appraisal process
- Evaluate the return on investing in the development of staff
- Writing policies based on current legislations
- Passionate about Housing
- Dealing at board level, senior management and smaller teams
We're looking for a Housing and Support Manager with:
- Management qualification to Level 3 or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Educated to A level or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with Maths and English GCSE grade C/ NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive management experience within the Supported Housing sector.
- Experience in working supported housing management operations.
- Experience of working directly with and for Local Authorities.
