We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality education and support to students with special educational needs.
Day to Day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff and parents.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Liaise with external agencies and professionals as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
