Residential Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal

Are you an experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal looking for your next challenge? Our client, who are a leading regional law firm, are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their Residential Property team, providing vital administrative and legal support.
About the Role:
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you'll play an integral part in managing property transactions from initial instruction through to exchange and completion. You will assist with running cases, manage the administrative side of transactions, and liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and solicitors.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Opening new files, both electronically and on paper, and conducting conflict & ID checks for clients.
- Supporting with case progression using the case management system.
- Managing client communications, ensuring a professional and friendly service throughout the transaction.
Skills & Experience:
They are looking for someone who has:
- At least 18 months' experience in a Residential Conveyancing department.
- A high level of organisation, administration, and communication skills.
- The ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel) and familiarity with case management systems.
- A polished telephone manner, strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent client care abilities.
