Pricing Oversight - Management Accountant
£450 per day - Ltd Company (inside IR35)
£380 PAYE
Six-month temporary position
Applying key analytical skills you will be responsible for the delivery of impactful MI to support the companies pricing function.
This role will specifically look at the development of MI across the products and brands which will then be utilised to monitor the all Fair Value aspects of this area.
The department is responsible for the pricing new business and data that is used across four business areas.
The Role:
- Development of MI to support FV assessments across the 4 brands and various products
- Support the Senior manager with the provision of insightful MI to ensure oversight of pricing activity to the FV and Yield committee
- Monitoring and reporting on performance of all offers/plans against the expected outcomes
- Development of MI to support the quarterly reporting from Pricing activities into the Conduct Risk Committee
- Develop oversight of Wholesale portfolio performance to support management decision-making in this key strategic area
- Working to introduce, update and maintain policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
- Take ownership of: FV assessments - Annual statements provided to support FV attestation by Senior Management and Pricing MI for the FV and Yield Committee as well as the Conduct Risk Committee
The Individual:
- Management accountant with 2 years experience
- Intermediate Excel i.e. formulas, macros, pivot tables, graphs
- Proven track record in developing and of providing Reports/Management Information
Desirable:
- Exposure to the financial services sector
- Previous exposure to data warehouse environments
- Previous exposure to MS PowerBI tools
- Line management responsibility or potential to be a line manager
- Experience of regulated environment / consumer duty
