The Role
Job Title: Transport Planner/Administrator
Job type: Permanent
Location: Southampton - site based
Hours: Late shift into early hours of the morning
Key Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Overseeing the night operation
- Dispatching and debriefing drivers
- Working in a busy office environment
- Monitoring mileage
- communicating with drivers, other departments and clients to ensure smooth operation
- route planning on a daily basis
Person Specifications
- Experience within Transport planning/Administration
- Knowledge of drivers hours & infringements
- Experience in dealing with containers
- High level of attention to detail
- Computer literate
