Early Career Teacher (ECT)

We are seeking motivated and passionate Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our vibrant schools in the Croydon and Sutton areas. As an ECT, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Day to Day of the role:
- Planning and setting lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Supporting students with their learning, social, and mental development.
- Adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participating in extracurricular activities and contributing to the school's community.
- Maintaining a commitment to all children and discussing their progress with parents.
- Ensuring the implementation of school policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Teacher Qualifications (QTS, PGCE, TEACH FIRST, etc.).
- Enthusiasm and outstanding subject knowledge to engage students.
- A proven track record of planning and assessing lessons to ensure student progress.
- Positive and proven behaviour management strategies.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to undertake one.
