Head of Digital Marketing Manager - 3 month contract

Key Responsibilities

  1. Management and Prioritisation of Marketing Requests:
  • Efficiently handle and prioritise marketing requests from various departments within the organization.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their marketing needs and align them with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and campaigns to meet organizational objectives.
  1. Line Management:
  • Supervise and mentor two marketing team members, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support team members in achieving their individual and team goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  1. Lead Generation:
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to drive sales income, utilizing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, online campaigns, and other digital marketing techniques.
  • Analyse campaign performance and optimize for maximum ROI.
  • Identify new opportunities for lead generation and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  1. Lead Conversion and Email Marketing:
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and convert them into customers.
  • Segment email lists based on target demographics and customer behavior.
  • Monitor email campaign performance and implement strategies to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  1. Social Media Management:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across all platforms.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Track and report on social media metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve marketing goals.
  1. Website Management:
  • Oversee the management, updating, and editing of the company website to ensure it is current, accurate, and aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to enhance user experience and implement new features.
  • Use web analytics tools to monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Content Calendar Management:
  • Maintain and update the content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic flow of content across all marketing channels.
  • Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Review and approve content before publication to maintain quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
  1. Press Releases and Media Management:
  • Write compelling press releases and manage media relations to generate positive coverage for the organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and respond to media inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Monitor media coverage and report on its impact.
  1. Reporting for Key Management Meetings:
  • Prepare detailed marketing reports for key management meetings, highlighting campaign performance, ROI, and strategic insights.
  • Use data-driven analysis to inform decision-making and recommend adjustments to marketing strategies.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  1. Support for Open Day Events:
  • Provide marketing support for the organization's open day events, including the creation of promotional materials and event coverage.
  • Coordinate with event organizers to ensure marketing activities align with event goals.
  • Be available to work occasional weekends to support the successful delivery of these events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a track record of successful lead generation and conversion campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
