Gi Group are working in partnership with one of the most trusted and successful parcel delivery business, who currently have an exciting opportunity multiple drivers to join their team as a self-employed driver.
Location: Edinburgh (EH48)
Pay rate - £108 per day (Paid weekly) - With a £25 per day performance bonus available
Hours of work:
1000-2000 - 5 days from 7 (Min 1 weekend working per month)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Training: Full training will be given (Over 12 days)
Self-Employed Driver Responsibilities include:
- Loading of vehicle each morning
- High volume deliveries following 3-week onboarding process
- "Job and knock" - paid day rate
- Adhering to standard work processes at all times
- New Mercedes Automatic & Manual Sprinter van provided fully insured
Self-Employed Driver Requirements:
- A full and valid B Driving licence
- A maximum of 6 points on your licence
- A minimum of 1 year's driving is essential
- Driving licence must be in current home address.
- We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
- We are looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly
- You must be physically fit and be able to manually load parcels into a van (up to 25kg)
- You must be able to provide various documents for identity checks
