Repairs Administrative Officer

RM Recruit Ltd is working in partnership with our Lambeth based Housing client who are on the lookout for a Repairs Administrative Officer for a period of three months. Our client is offering an immediate start for the ideal candidate and this role requires office presence five days per week.

Main duties include:

  • Contributing to the overall smooth running of the Asset Management team by providing comprehensive, proactive and efficient administrative support whilst delivering a professional, customer-focused and high quality repairs management service.
  • Delivering a high-quality repairs management service to the property portfolio by ensuring the needs of residents are met throughout their tenancies
  • Receiving, raising and tracking repair requests reported by the residents, including Out of Hours job logging.
  • Contributing to the effective operation of the Asset Management Team, by providing administrative services, preparing routine reports, issuing agendas and supporting documents to agreed deadlines.
  • Organising and maintaining an appointments diary for the Asset Management Team, recording appointments, preparing information and other materials prior to site visits and ensuring the efficient administration and smooth running of the service
  • Liaising with the Building Surveyors/Repair Technicians to collate, coordinate and arrange the carrying out of all building repairs and improvement works to housing stock.
  • Co-ordinating and dealing with routine written and verbal enquiries, ensuring that all agreed timescales are met to deliver the best possible level of customer satisfaction.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate and up to date contract files which allow instant access to information whilst ensuring the security and confidentiality of all data.
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all work colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure an integrated contribution to the organisation's objectives.

As the ideal candidate, you will have experience in asset management administration including compliance and repairs and have excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, prioritisation, organisational and I.T. skills including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other appropriate software packages to a high standard. You will be available immediately given this role benefits with an immediate start.
