We are looking for a Machinery Mechanic for our client located in Macclesfield where you will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair on a variety of garden machinery and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and repair of garden machinery to the standard required by the Service Manager
- Liaising with customers and registration of jobs when required
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop
- Ensure machine is cleaned ready for customer collection
- Provide service support to all other departments as delegated by the Service Manager
- Ensure due care is given to customer and company property
- Respond to domestic and professional customer site call-outs to diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs
You will attend training courses as required by the company to maintain satisfactory levels of compliance and understanding of the latest products.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of a variety of garden and commercial machinery, ability to diagnose faults, strong communication skills, full clean driver's licence.
You will be working Monday - Friday 8-5 with a 1 in 4 Saturday shift.
