Sales Administrator

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Administrator, you will report to the Finance Manager, with dotted line responsibility to the Senior Sales Administrator. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Raising sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Preparing sales quotations as needed.
  • Handling customer calls and emails, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Maintaining and updating the product database and customer spreadsheets.
  • Keeping sales-related spreadsheets current on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Coordinating with production and dispatch departments.
  • Managing haulier tracking.
  • Answering phones and managing outgoing post.
  • Ensuring day-to-day filing is carried out.
  • Emailing pricelists as required.
  • Performing other sales support functions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in office administration and sales order processing.
  • Familiarity with buying groups is advantageous.
  • General accounts experience is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
