Their portfolio boasts successful projects for prominent clients around the world developed and delivered from bases in the UK.

The Role

Technical Expertise:

  • iOS Development: Proficient in SwiftUI, Widgets, App Clips, and Xcode. Architect and develop reusable Swift frameworks for efficient codebase management.
  • CI/CD: Maintain and optimize Jenkins and Fastlane pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. Implement robust validation processes using a macOS cluster.
  • Clean Architecture: Adhere to Clean Architecture principles for code organization and maintainability.
  • Compliance: Drive and maintain ISO27001 and PCI compliance within the team. Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the company's ISMS.

Engineering Practices:

  • Agile Development: Break down complex projects into manageable milestones. Deliver high-quality software on time, refining estimation accuracy.
  • Problem Solving: Create innovative solutions to technical challenges, gaining buy-in and implementing them effectively.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

This role requires a strong foundation in iOS development, a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

The Person

  • Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • In-depth understanding of SOLID principles and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience in developing iOS applications for the App Store, adhering to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and App Store Review Guidelines.
  • Solid foundation in RESTful API integration and JSON data handling.
  • Proficiency in TDD and unit testing frameworks.
  • Experience with adaptive UI design and development.
  • Knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous programming concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

This is a permanent position and can be based out of an office in London or Newcastle with a requirement to be "in" 4 times per month. Salary is up to £60,000.
