Experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant required to join a leading business based in Bolton. The scope of the role will offer you a varied and interesting mix of both workload and clients with no two days being the same.
Salary: Up to £35k based on experience
Mon - Friday - Permanent
This role would certainly suit an individual who thrives from having a varied workload in an busy office environment that has been commended for their service. This is a sole Bookkeeper position with the support of the company Director and an external accountant.
About the role as a Bookkeeper, you will be performing hands on bookkeeping, preparing and submitting VAT returns and preparing accounts t Trial Balance.
Duties including:
- Reconciling sales & purchase ledger invoices, receipts and payments
- Keeping clients up to date with their business's performance
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing and sending invoices
- Checking company bank statements - reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers and customers
Experience required:
- 3 years' Bookkeeping experience is essential
- Experience with Xero is essential
- AAT Bookkeeping qualification or Part Qualified ACCA / ACA would be great
