Finance Manager
Location - Harrogate
Salary - £45,000 - £55,000
About the company:
A well-established Private Equity owned Manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire, where you'll be the number 1 in finance. It's a broad finance role, taking ownership of the month end process and aiding the Group Finance Director with year end audits.
Responsibilities include:
- Produce accurate and timely monthly Management Accounts for various stakeholders across the Group
- Deliver a comprehensive set of balance sheet recs within strict deadlines
- Investigate and explain major variances to budget, forecast and last year and present findings to the Managing Director
- Prepare robust budgets and forecasts in line with Company and Group requirements
- Own and lead the ongoing cash flow management
- Accurate and timely reporting on actuals vs forecast
- Strong understanding of the key drivers of margins and costs
- Support the Managing Director on all budgeting and forecasting plans and in developing strategic plans
Skills/Qualifications required:
- Qualified or Finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding
- Excellent use of Excel
- Ability to analyse complex data with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Driven, with an ambitious desire to succeed and deliver sustainable growth
- Strong networking and relationship building
