This is a real all-rounder Infrastructure role, working for a well-known retail brand in Nottingham. The key focus of the role will be to provide top-to-bottom IT support, maintenance, and development to the business' Infrastructure, at the head office and across various branches.

Location: NG11, hybrid basis
Duration: 12 month fixed-term contract
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (hourly equivalent)
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and control all Infrastructure across the business
- Acting as the point of escalation to 2nd Line Support, following ITIL guidelines
- Providing extensive 3rd Line support for all the business' physical and virtual IT assets
- Use of ManageEngine, facilitating the logging and managing of problems and incidents
- Use of Bitdefender to protect all IT user endpoints and applications from security breaches
- Support, implementation and development of software applications
- Design and implement network solutions to improve the efficiency of current networks (LAN & WAN)
- Support physical devices e.g. Cabling and servers
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors
- Involvement in IT projects
- Monitoring of systems
- Managing the company's Cloud environment and Management strategy
- Ensure compliance against all control standards
- Provide budgetary information
ABOUT YOU / EXPERIENCE IN
- Experienced in a similar IT infrastructure environment
- Project management would be desirable
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Datacentre migrations
- Cisco Certified Network Profession (desirable)
- Cloud management
- Linux/Unix Administration
- Office365, Active Directory, Windows, SAP, SQL Server
