Sanderson Group is working in partnership with a major C lient in the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager - Conflict of Interest. This role must be via an Umbrella and will be London- Once per week to office .

Role: Commercial Manager - Conflict of Interest

Contract Length: 12 Months.

Location: London- Once per week to office

IR35: Inside IR35

Summary:

  • As an experienced commercial specialist with experience in Major Projects and ideally Health, you will be responsible for helping our customers solve complex commercial problems.
  • You will be able to develop positive professional relationships and work collaboratively across organisations to deliver ongoing value to our customers and implement successful programmes.

Conflict of interest Management

  • Leading on management of conflict-of-interest related enquiries as they relate to the Commercial workstream and wider colleagues
  • Provision of best practice advice and guidance on the reporting of interests
  • Act as primary point of contact for the declaration of interests, maintaining a database of all interests (including public registers where appropriate) cross referenced against ongoing workstreams and formal logging of appropriate protections and safeguards in response to conflicts.
  • Proactively engages with colleagues across the programme to raise awareness of the importance of conflict-of-interest matters
  • Actively participating in emerging workstreams at an early stage to identify potential for interest related issues
  • Ensuring conflict of interest policies and practice maintain alignment with best practice in the sector and beyond.
  • Lead in sharing good practice with other teams both internal and external to NHP Commercial directorate teams.
  • Responsible for regular engagement sessions, presentations, 'lunch and learn' sessions, etc with staff to facilitate the highest standards in compliance culture across the Programme.

Experiences:

  • Extensive commercial/procurement experience in a consulting and major programme context
  • In depth and up to date understanding of Conflict-of-Interest management in this context
  • Proven influencing skills.
  • Proven experience of managing own projects to deliver on time and in line with client expectations
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks pertinent to the role e.g. PCR 2015
  • Confident at identifying risk and implementing the appropriate controls to protect client and company.
  • Able to effectively manage personal utilisation and project delivery.
  • Commercially astute and a customer focused professional.
  • Ability to engage and communicate with people at all levels within the business and within our clients.
  • Strong influencing skills that enable you to provide a truly consultative service to our clients.
