National Account Manager – Bidfood/Brakes

London HQ (1 Day a week)

Up to £58,000 plus the following benefits:

The Advocate Group are once again partnered with a multinational FMCG corporation renowned for its diverse portfolio in the food and beverage industry. The organisation has a global presence, operating in numerous countries and catering to a wide array of consumer needs.

This is a critical role, managing two of the highest value customers in the Foodservice channel – Bidfood and Brakes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and executing joint business plans that will result in mutually profitable growth
  • Developing existing, respected relationships with key customer contacts, across multiple functions
  • Focusing on shared ambitions such as prioritisation of health and sustainability
  • Overseeing the promotional and pricing plans, regularly reviewing ROI and tweaking where relevant
  • Ensuring delivery of internal targets (Sales, Profit, Volume, Distribution and Market Share)

The successful candidate will:

  • Have demonstrable experience of P&L management within Foodservice
  • Understand the FMCG space and be able to deliver a demand led JBP.
  • Contribute to the overall category strategy as well as day to day account management
  • Demonstrate gravitas and credibility when liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Be comfortable with difficult negotiation and able to showcase problem resolution
