Job title: Logistics Coordinator
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: Studley (must drive due to location)
Working hours: 8am to 5pm – Monday to Friday
My client has an exciting opportunity for a logistics coordinator to join their busy team. The suitable candidate will have experience within logistics planning and scheduling, be PC literate and have excellent communication skills. Key duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth planning and delivery of products to the client.
- Liaise with internal departments, companies and clients to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the process.
- Prepare loading plans whilst complying to health and safety regulations.
- Schedule delivery times and ensure these times are adhered to.
- Keep up to date on time statistics, update the system and communicate with relevant departments throughout.
- Participate in stock take duties when required.
- Deliver excellent customer service and overall customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience Required:
- At least 2 years' experience within logistics planning and scheduling.
- Proficient on Microsoft and CRM systems.
- Excellent customer service both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Drivers License required.
