Oracle Project Management Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Oracle Project Management Officer on behalf of our public sector organisation based in South London.

The role will work in the Oracle Cloud Implementation team. The aim of the programme is to improve the organisation's Oracle Cloud Fusion system.

The successful applicant will have experience of working on Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation or improvement projects.

This is a temporary contract initially for 3 months with view for further extension and the day rate is £400 per day Umbrella.

  • Governance meeting preparation and administration
  • Development and updating the programme plans and schedule
  • RAID maintenance
  • Programme cost control
  • Programme reporting and providing administrative support and assistance to the programme workstreams
  • Ensure the PMO processes are carried out to support the programme's planning, control and reporting cycles
  • Supporting programme reporting through information gathering, collation and presentation
  • Develop, update and maintain the programme plans and schedules
  • Update and maintain registers for the management of risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
  • Develop and maintain the project library, filing, recording and reporting systems in MS teams/SharePoint
  • Advise and assist project team members in the application of project procedures, disciplines and recording and reporting standards
  • Provide a secretariat function for programme boards and stakeholder forums, including production of agendas, meeting minutes, actions and decisions
  • Provide administrative support as required to the programme team

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and experience of a formal project management methodology
  • A high degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite and a willingness and skill to learn new programs quickly
  • Flexible, positive approach to work
  • Experience of using MS Teams/MS SharePoint
  • Experience of using MS Project
  • Experience of using Verto365
  • Project planning ability
  • Experience of working on projects/programmes with multiple suppliers and stakeholders including system integrators
