**Role and Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Assist in the academic and personal development of Year 2 students, providing support in the classroom and during activities.
- Phonics Instruction: Utilise your knowledge and experience with phonics to help students develop their reading and writing skills.
- Classroom Preparation: Assist the teacher with preparing materials and organizing the classroom for lessons and activities.
- Individual and Group Work: Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and address specific needs.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
**Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Previous experience working with young people or children.
- Phonics Knowledge: Experience with / knowledge of phonics is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- DBS Check: Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
