Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our dynamic team. As a Supply Teacher, you will be stepping into various classrooms across East Lancashire, covering short-term and long-term absences. You will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in students' education, delivering pre-planned lessons, and creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different year groups and subjects.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
- Follow and implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create your own if necessary.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and build rapport with students and staff.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in UK schools (Primary or Secondary level).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to different schools within East Lancashire.
- Ability to quickly adapt to different school environments and curricula.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
