About the role
This post will deliver ambitious leadership of operational performance and delivery for Avalon and will be a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. Straddling both strategic and operational remits, it will drive future-focused, person-centred service solution. The position plays an essential part in Avalon's ambitious 5 year plan and will successfully mobilise and deliver significant growth as well as raising the profile of the charity across the region.
About you
You will be driven to excel and be passionate about delivering high quality service delivery across social care. You will bring pace, strong networking skills and an ability to influence at senior levels. You will demonstrate persuasive, compelling communications with strong written skills. You will be used to working to tight deadlines and have strong attention to detail where required.
You will know and understand the commissioning landscape as well as the needs and challenges of key stakeholder groups including people who use services.
You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role within the health and social care sector, having worked in senior operational roles.
Your base is negotiable for the right candidate but will include time at our Head Office in Harrogate and within locality offices as required. Appointment will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate.
