Head of Reward 12-15 Month Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the Reward team for a well known Bristol based company to cover a period of maternity. The Reward Lead reports to the HR Director and is ultimately responsible for the delivery of the reward and benefits agenda supported by a reward team.

As the Reward Lead you will be responsible for reward and benefits supporting a headcount of c.3,000. You will lead on the annual reward and benefits (core and flexible) cyclical activity, making recommendations on changes and improvement, and review and update reward and benefits policies and processes in additional to managing 3rd party vendors and suppliers. There are also a number of projects you will lead on in addition that will include job architecture and job levelling, developing a recognition framework, a review of the benefits structure and implementing new change and processes to a recent adjustment to the bonus schemes that will be awarded in 2025.

This position will suit someone who is comfortable working in both a strategic and operational capacity and with significant experience of reward and benefits. You will have a track record of understanding business drivers and delivering effective reward solutions whilst managing a team of reward professionals. With a strong commercial focus and great project skills, you will be able to build relationships and strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

Ideally you will be able to start in September/October 2024 and so this will be covering a 12-15 month time span so this may also suit someone with a 2-3 month notice period. With hybrid working on offer you will need to be able to access their office in Leeds for at least 1 day/week.
