Client Accountant - Lettings - OUR CLIENT is a successful business specialising in the sales, letting and management of residential properties for numerous clients seeking their bespoke services. Now they have asked us to help them to find an experienced and dedicated Client Accountant to join their Lettings Department.
THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS for the Client Accountant will include:
- Allocating receipts from the client account daily.
- Actioning payments to suppliers and landlords.
- Checking and sending the rental statements and remittances.
- Managing and chasing the Rent Arrears regularly.
- Liaising with Landlords regarding queries involving their statement and account.
- Processing payments on Veco.
- Registering Deposits on TDS.
- Checking on regular basis the outstanding invoices on Veco and chasing the payments where necessary.
- Calculating and producing the quarterly commission invoice to the suppliers.
- Importing all fees invoiced from Veco to Sage on a monthly basis.
- Reconciling the weekly agency payment to Sage on a monthly basis.
- Inputting any monies received to the Office Account to Sage.
- Preparing the annual Statutory Notice report spreadsheet for HMRC.
- Assisting the head of accounts where necessary.
THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS for the Accountant:
- Must have 3+ years Client Accounting experience from a residential lettings firm/department or estate agency.
