Robert Half Finance and Accounting are partnering with a Pharmaceutical Company based in Central London to recruit an immediate, Accounts Payable Clerk for a 6 month temporary role.
Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, Accounts Payable Clerk for a 6 month temporary assignment which could potentially permanent.
In this role you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Responsible for timely processing of AP transactions ensuring accuracy of general ledger coding and associated taxes.
- Obtain and support in PO creation
- Obtain supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and enter them into an Automated Accounting System
- Obtain and reconcile vendor statements, following up on discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective relationships with business partners/vendors through timely accurate payment and responding promptly to inquiries.
- Identify and escalate priority issues timely to management.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation and requests.
- Support AP month-end closing process
- Provide support for special ad-hoc projects as directed

Profile:
The successful temporary, Accounts Payable Clerk will be a proactive individual, have at least 3+ years experience working within a fast paced Accounts Payable environment, have end to end Accounts Payable experience and be able to hit the ground running.
You must be on no more than a 1 week notice to be considered for this role.
Client:
Our client is a Pharmaceutical company based in the Central London who are looking to recruit an immediate Accounts Payable Clerk for 6 months. This role is hybrid based and will be based in the office at least 2 days per week.
Salary & Benefits:
This temporary Accounts Payable roles will be paying circa £18 - £19 per hour. This is dependant on experience.
