Key Responsibilities as a Principal Systems Engineer
- Accountable for completion of Systems Engineering activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Support the implementation of Systems Engineering processes.
- Support/lead stakeholder technical reviews.
- Engage multi-discipline teams to facilitate successful delivery.
- Ensure delivery in accordance with company standards of conduct.
Core Experience and Skills
- Proven experience and knowledge of Systems Engineering models, techniques, lifecycle planning, delivering and reporting.
- Experience of requirements development, design, integration and acceptance.
- Experience using MBSE tools and techniques such as Enterprise Architect, Bizz Design, No Magic, SysML, UML, ArchiMate, TOGAF, SOSAF, or UAF.
- Familiar with military environmental standards (e.g. DEF STAN 00-35, 59-411)
- Strong team player with good people and communication skills.
- Systems thinking, logical approach, RCA/rectification/regression management.
- Engaging 'can do' attitude.
