HR Assistant/Officer | £25,000-35,000 | Carnforth | Great team and working culture
Axon Moore is proud to be working in partnership with an award-winning company in the Carnforth area that are looking for a HR Assistant/Officer to work alongside the HR Director.
Duties will include:
- Assisting the department with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties including payroll and recruitment
- Clerical and administrative support
- Dealing with all recruitment and on boarding of new employees
- Prepare Employee personnel files
- Involvement in disciplinary, capabilities, grievances, performance management and absence management issues.
- Planning and delivering training, including inductions for new employees
- Assist the HR Director with the development of new policies, procedures and practices
- Assist in the preparation of payroll data
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in an HR role or similar position preferred.
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
- Payroll preparation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Package and benefits:
- Salary up to £35,000 (dependent on experience)
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with half an hour lunch (37.5 hours)
