Your new role
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for producing financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Purchase and Sales Ledger, and Cash Flow statements. Your role will focus on ensuring quality, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reporting. You will support operational management in identifying areas for business performance improvement and ensure the accuracy of internal reporting. Additionally, you will manage monthly and annual management accounts, meet third-party information requirements, and provide timely information for statutory accounts and corporation tax preparation. Effective stock accounting, processing purchase and sales invoices, completing monthly payment runs, and overseeing credit control and payment terms will also be part of your responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified finance professional or have significant work experience in a financial role, particularly within a manufacturing environment. A minimum of two years' experience as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing company is essential. Proficiency in Sage and QuickBooks is required. You should be a team player with excellent presentation skills and the ability to lead by example, bringing out the best in others.
What you'll get in return
