Assistant Accountant required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity working for a well established business based in Aldridge. You will be working directly under the management accountant and be responsible for assisting with the production of monthly management accounts, weekly and month bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany invoicing, VAT returns, purchase and sales ledger processing and month end reporting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance graduate or AAT studier with at least 12 months experience working in a finance assistant role who is looking for that next step up in their career. You must have excellent interpersonal skill and be able to work as part of a small friendly team in a busy yet challenging role. You will also need to have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups).
