Infrastructure Architect
Up to 80k per annum
Hybrid - 2 days per week in office (Portsmouth/Horley/Edinburgh)
We have a brilliant opportunity to join a constantly growing utilities company based in the South of England and across Scotland. The organisation is playing a key role in helping the country achieve a net-zero economy while taking steps to decarbonise the energy sector. This role can be based in Portsmouth, Horley, or Edinburgh, depending on your location.
We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to support the future design, development, and implementation of the IT and OT architecture, with a focus on the management and provision of end-user devices in the offices and out in the field. You will ensure that end users are connected securely and reliably across cloud-hosted services and can access the data required to complete their jobs. The organisation is looking to revolutionise their OT and EUC device management while ensuring they are CAF compliant.
Key skills that you will need:
- Experience in the design and implementation of end-to-end infrastructure solutions
- Experience of working with operationally deployed technologies/OT, for example, security of IoT sensors, Edge Computing, Remote Terminal Units, SCADA systems
- Experience in the design and implementation of end-user technologies, preferably Microsoft Windows modern managed devices (Intune/Autopilot), non-Windows managed devices (Android/iOS), and Microsoft 365
- Working knowledge of cloud hosting technologies (particularly AWS)
