Our client, a leader in the Gardening, DIY, and Homeware wholesale sector, seeks an entrepreneurial Profit Centre Manager to lead and grow operations across Scotland. With seven locations, significant stock, and a wide range of top-brand products, this is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker ready to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory & Account Development: Establish your territory as the preferred supplier choice by building long-term relationships with key accounts and market-leading suppliers. Drive growth in B2B sales while reviving declining areas.
- Sales & Operations Leadership: Lead field sales teams and account managers to ensure high performance. Oversee warehouse operations to guarantee efficient stock management and timely deliveries.
- Financial & Business Management: Set your own budgets and manage financial operations with the autonomy to make key decisions. Use your financial acumen to drive profitability, and benefit from a profit-share scheme at year-end.
- Trader Mentality & High Standards: Approach every opportunity with a trader mentality, setting high standards for yourself and your team. Focus on data-driven, analytical insights to improve processes, while investing in your team's growth and development.
