Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Scientist to join our pharmaceutical team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tests to ensure that our products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality from development to manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Conduct chemical and physical tests in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Analyse test results, identify trends, and communicate findings with relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures and results, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Participate in method development and validation to support new product launches.

The ideal candidate will have the following;

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy in testing and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques would be an advantage.
