Finance Assistant - Liverpool City Centre
6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Up to £28,000 DOE
I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with a professional services firm based in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. This company boasts an impressive growth model, year on year expansion and beautiful modern offices. A newly appointed Senior Finance contact is in need of a Finance Assistant on an interim basis to help streamline the finance function. This will be a hands-on, collaborative role - a role in which you can be exposed to a great deal in a short space of time.
You will be appointed on a 6 month basis, but the opportunities could be longer-term for the right Assistant Accountant.
Key duties of this role will include:
- Processing and raising of invoices
- High use of Excel
- Cashbook processing and assisting with analysis
- Daily banking
- Reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
- Supporting the Financial Controller
In order to be considered for this role you will:
- Be at a fairly advanced level on Excel
- Have experience in a similar role
- Be available to start within circa 3 weeks
