We have an initially temporary Forklift Driver position available within DS Smith packaging. This role is ideal for someone with the ability to be a team-player, who puts safety first and have a valid Forklift License that wants to step into an exciting career position which offers a range of brilliant benefits!
Role: Forklift Driver (Days & nights)
Location: South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH
Rate: £15.40ph
Contract length: 3 months with a possibility of extension
Shift Patterns:
First week of the role will be a week of Days 6am-6pm
Second week of the role will be a week of Nights 6pm-6am
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the safe operation of movement of materials ensuring you meet productivity and performance targets, which include quality, waste, and customer service. In addition, you will ensure that maintenance and cleaning tasks are carried out in line with the planned maintenance schedule. You will also be required to support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, as and when arise.
Essential requirements:
Counterbalance license and the requirements to be flexible working both days and night shifts
