What is the role about?

The RTC Administrator supports the Resettlement Training Centre team to ensure the successful delivery of courses for Service Leavers and will provide administrative support more broadly across the CTP training department as required. The Administrator provides an excellent customer service by

telephone, email and to those attending the RTC; enters customer data into several databases; assists the team with preparing training rooms, registration, attendance data management and evaluation of courses; and liaises with training course providers, tutors and invigilators as required. The Administrator will have excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, experience in

providing an excellent face to face and telephone-based customer service and will be able to input data at speed and with a high degree of accuracy.

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include

  • Training Administration - An RTC Administrator will provide support to ensure that training is successfully administered within the RTC, and more broadly across the RRCs as applicable
  • Customer Service - An RTC Administrator will provide reception cover in the RTC and will deliver a high standard of customer service via telephone, email and in person.
  • Exam Administration - An RTC Administrator will ensure that the end-to-end process for exams is managed efficiently and effectively
  • RTC Operational Support - An RTC Administrator will provide support to the RTC to ensure the smooth delivery of courses on site.
  • General Administration - An RTC Administrator will also be responsible for a variety of other ad hoc database administration and customer contacts activities, as detailed below:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with

Screening Criteria

  • As Security Clearance is required for this role, applicants must have resided in the United Kingdom for the past 5 years and be able to evidence this.
  • A minimum of two A-Levels or an equivalent Level three Diploma.
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level two qualification). OR achievement of a Level two in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
  • At least one year's previous demonstrable experience in providing a high-quality customer service both face to face and by telephone in a target driven environment such as a contact centre or retail environment.
  • At least one year's previous demonstrable experience of high-volume input into complex databases where accuracy is essential
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word

  • Knowledge of awarding bodies.
  • Knowledge of Training Accreditation system.
